Neville began his career in Quebec in the 1960's. He held duties as a substation maintenance mechanic, as well as distribution and transmission lineman.
In Montreal Neville was part of a team charged with developing revolutionary "bare hand" work methods for Hydro Quebec on the 735,000 volt lines in the late 1960's.
From there he moved with his family to the USA where he worked for New England Power as a distribution and EHV lineman throughout the New England States.
In 1978 he joined British Columbia Hydro as a Safety Officer for the Central Interior Region.
In 1979 he and his family relocated to Ontario , where he joined the Electrical Utilities Safety Association of Ontario.
Over the next 25 years Neville worked as a Health and Safety Consultant in both the field and training department at E&USA.
During his tenure with E&USA he continued to explore the feasibility of several safety devices.
Presently he devotes his time to promoting EZ-RSQ rescuer equipment and continues to help workers avoid accidents through training and education.
Brian began working with Ontario Hydro, as a Certified Forestry Journeyman, in 1971. From there Brian move onto Brampton Hydro as a Certified Power Lineman, in 1977.
After many years as a Lineman Brian moved onto Safety Training and Prevention, training for such clientele as Public & Private Hydro Utilities, Municipalities, Colleges (Kemptville, Humber , and Sir Sanford Fleming) and Private Contractors.
Currently Brian is operating his own company called Colonial Tree Service which focuses on tree and stump removal, corrective tree pruning, tree fertilizing, tree cabling and bracing, hydro line clearing, crane service, tree diagnosis & consultations for residential, utility and municipal clients.
